"Three million New Yorkers died and you weren't one of them."

I didn't follow the faux-viral campaign for The Dark Knight in real time, but the collection of "Gotham Tonight" spots on the DVD is very slickly produced.  Watchmen's equivalent site, The New Frontiersman, has a way to go before they can match TDK's quality.  Of course, it will be that much harder in that they have to introduce the alternate history to newbies while hordes of fanboys like me, er, watch for the slightest deviation or omission.

Today they posted a three-minute news clip on the "10th anniversary" of the shadow of Manhattan.  Not bad, but I hope all six main characters get equal treatment; IMO, one of the most beautiful things about the comic was the narrative symmetry.

Re: The article on the Silhouette - In the book she was "shot by a minor adversary seeking revenge.". In the site article, it looks like she was Se7en-ed.
