It must also be reflecting the long version of ROTK since Saruman is shown as dead after Isengard is flooded, and not just "locked up in his tower".
Note that this also made me add Primer to my netflix queue.
Amusingly, I just discovered it's already in my queue (and available instantly). I must have done that in the future.
Curiously, I'd never heard of Primer until I saw this comic. It is, of course, now in my (insta-)queue.
