Not sure if this is a good idea or not, but Wendy and I are occasionally wake up too early and go out for pre-work breakfasts. It occurred to us that we could announce such in advance and see if anyone else is ever similarly vertical and hungry. No RSVP, minimal planning, just show up and see if anyone else we know happens to be there.
